August 15: the Day of lavender in Sault

At the heart of the first lavender growing region, the day of Lavender is the opportunity to discover an ancestral tradition celebrated every 15th of August.

In a relaxed atmosphere, under the oak trees of the Defend’s wood the Sault, you will witness the French lavender sickle harvesting championship, parades with folk groups and teams, the Farm Machinery Show, the exhibitions-sales of local products, the paintings exhibition, the book fair and the village of "Métiers d'Art".

A large meal takes place in the shade of oak trees.

Lavender games for children and adults will be followed by the closing live show.
